Grand Theater restoration continuing with repairs
Mike Garza, left, of BAV Construction was in Rocky Ford recently to make repairs on the Grand Theater's restoration efforts. Cracking in tile on the south side of the building's face was spotted, as well as paint peeling on the south side of the marquee. RF Arts Commission chairman Bob Nelson stated damage to the outside's neon lighting as reported recently, which may warrant a person to patrol the outside of the theater on Friday nights, informally known as Kid's Night.
Grand Theater takes first place non-profit in RF 2003 Parade of Lights

The parade ran on Dec. 13 of last year, while commemorative plaques were presented to place winners the week of Jan. 12.
